RIO+Saneamento

Rio+Saneamento is a water and basic sanitation utility operating in 18 municipalities of Rio de Janeiro State, including 22 districts of the west zone of Rio de Janeiro City. It was established as a partnership between Vinci Water & Sanitation (VIAS) and Grupo Águas do Brasil.

With investment of BRL 4.7 billion, the company will service more than 2.6 million people for the next 35 years.

Operations began in the region on August 1, 2022, with the aim of universalizing access to drinking water, sewage collection and wastewater treatment, in compliance with the targets set by Brazil's basic sanitation legislation (Marco Regulatório do Saneamento Básico).
