OUR SUSTAINABILITY FRAMEWORK

VINCI COMPASS HAS A LONGSTANDING COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY, EXTENDING BEYOND INVESTMENT PROCESSES

The history of Vinci Compass in sustainability - from joining the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in 2012 to launching thematic funds and engaging with portfolio companies - reflects not only market demand but also the company's values and culture. Sonia Consiglio | Independent Board Member and Chair of the Sustainability Committee at Vinci Compass

At Vinci Compass, our values are purpose-driven. We attract talent that shares our vision and build a responsible legacy in alternative investments and global solutions across Latin America. Sustainability is embedded in our investment processes and corporate management, becoming a core element of our culture.
In 2021, we took an important step by establishing the Sustainability Committee, which reports directly to the Board of Directors. It was also the year we laid the groundwork for our first Sustainability Report, published in 2022, covering the year 2021.
Within this framework, we defined the three pillars that structure our sustainability strategy - Business, Development and Culture & Practices - as well as our formal Sustainability Positioning, which is detailed in our Sustainability Report.
Our portfolio includes funds that integrate sustainability-related factors into their investment strategies, such as Vinci Infrastructure and Sanitation (VIAS), Vinci Capital Partners IV (VCP IV), and impact-driven funds such as Vinci Impact and Return IV (VIR IV), Vinci Climate Change (VICC), Lacan Forestry IV, and Vinci Sustainable Energy (VES).

A 360º VIEW: BUSINESS, DEVELOPMENT AND CULTURE & PRACTICES

A HOLISTIC APPROACH IS ESSENTIAL FOR A FLEXIBLE, INCLUSIVE, AND NON-RESTRICTIVE ASSESSMENT

At Vinci Compass, sustainability is not approached ideologically but rather as a strategic component of our business and investment decisions. Our role is to ensure that investments are grounded in data and evidence, while carefully evaluating risks and opportunities through our best judgment. Naturally, governance principles, environmental responsibility, and social impact are fundamental to our risk and opportunity assessments. Julya Mayor Sotto Wellisch | Partner and Head of Legal, Compliance and Sustainability at Vinci Compass

Vinci Partners is formally committed to promoting its sustainability pillars

Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) | The main international commitment within the scope of the UN on the agenda, which brings together more than 5,000 signatories and USD 128 trillion in assets under management.

In 2012, we became signatories of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). More than an institutional position, joining the PRI is related to Vinci's business model and the pursuit to continuously improve ESG integration processes across all asset classes in the portfolio.

Women Empowerment Gender Gap Analysis Tool (WEPs Tool) | A business-driven tool designed to help companies from around the world assess gender equality performance across the workplace, marketplace, and community.

Our CEO supports the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEP) to promote gender equality throughout our organization, following Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) guidelines.

Operating Principles for Impact Management (OPIM) | A framework for investors to ensure that impact considerations are purposefully integrated throughout the investment life cycle.

The Vinci Partners fund Vinci Impacto e Retorno IV (VIR IV) is a signatory to OPIM.

VINCI COMPASS' CULTURE

WE FOSTER AN ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE GROUNDED IN ETHICS AND CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT. WE PLACE STRONG FOCUS ON SOCIAL ISSUES, ESPECIALLY DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION.

Vinci Compass culture is people-centric. We are always looking for ways to add value and have a positive impact on the company and the community of which it is part. Patricia Amorim | Partner responsible for the People, Governance, and Administration areas at Vinci Compass

It is important to distinguish sustainability aspects in investments from private social investment. Vinci Compass embraces social and environmental responsibility through initiatives that are embedded in its culture and practices as a company.
