LGPD

PRESENTING BRAZILIAN GENERAL DATA PROTECTION LAW

Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) is designed to protect citizens by reinforcing the principles intrinsic to their privacy and regulating the treatment of their personal data.

TREATMENT OF DATA MEANS ITS COLLECTION AND STORAGE, AND ABOVE ALL THE USE THAT WILL BE MADE OF THAT DATA.

Respecting citizens entails obligations for business organizations to protect their privacy and right of access, let them know what details of theirs are held so they can correct incomplete, inaccurate or out-of-date information, and anonymize, block or delete any data they consider unnecessary, excessive or not treated in compliance with the LGPD.
